Congratulations to Ashley and Georg for winning the 3 Minutes thesis presentation competition Sydney, 7 July 2017

The 3 Minutes Thesis (3MT) is an academic competition developed by the University of Queensland for PhD candidates. PhD students are given three minutes to give a compelling presentation on their thesis topic and its significance. The 3MT competition asks research candidates to consolidate their ideas and crystallise their research discoveries. The two winners from the school will then go on to the Faculty of Engineering. The Faculty finalist will then go on to compete in the InterFaculty final. This year, Ashley and Georg, both from sustainability in manufacturing & life cycle engineering research group, won the competition in school level. They will then go on to the Faculty of Engineering heat on Friday 28 July. Congratulations to both and wishing them luck for the next rounds.
